MISSED APPOINTMENT CHARGES
At London Road Dental Practice, we understand that on occasions patients may be unable to keep their appointments - we would therefore kindly request you to contact the practice at your earliest convenience to inform us so that the appointment can be reallocated.
NHS patients who miss two appointments will no longer be able to receive NHS treatment at this practice. This policy is endorsed by our Local Area Team. We will however continue to be able to offer those patients private dental care.
In the event of patients missing an appointment or cancelling with less than 24 hours notice, London Road Dental Practice reserve the right to charge a missed appointment fee.
Missed Hygienist appointments will be charged at £20.00 per ½ hour appointment. All other appointments are charged at £15.00 per 15 minutes.
NHS Charges
BAND 1 COURSE OF TREATMENT £23.80
This covers an examination, diagnosis (e.g. x-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant. If you require urgent care you will only need to pay one Band 1 charge.
BAND 2 COURSE OF TREATMENT £65.20
This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.
BAND 3 COURSE OF TREATMENT £282.80
This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2 above, plus crowns, dentures and bridges.
